Mission

Our Commitment

Glokids Cameroon works to alleviate poverty in Cameroon by empowering children and at-risk youths fleeing the current war in the English–speaking regions of the country through formal education reflected in the establishment of an elementary school, reinforced by a STEM Program and the Coding Academy.

The informal education sector provides computer training to teenage mothers from the Anglophone crisis region, vocational training to street children, assistance to mothers displaced from the Anglophone crisis, a community library program, and other Capacity Building programs meant to equip the underprivileged with skills that will help improve their lives and remove them from the grip of poverty.

Rachael and Remi are both committed to make sure that they provide a safe space, food and all that it takes to keep children educated and protected from the pangs of poverty and a conflict ridden environment  With the war still raging in the two Anglophone regions of the country, Rachael and Remi have now been forced to take on more than they anticipated initially as the number of orphans is increasing and the poverty level is prompting more children to be out of regular school as they cannot afford the cost of tuition and school supplies.
